Faucet Mounted Eye Wash
Faucet mounted eyewash is constructed of stainless steel. Provides ease of installation on standard faucets. Inverted water flow pattern provides superior eye protection.
The Faucet mounted eyewash provides business facilities with eye wash irrigation capabilities in an attractive, low cost package.
Installation is easy, with a variety of industry standard adapters included that allow the eye pod to be used with standard faucets.
Unscrew the existing aerator from the bottom of the faucet, and replace with the faucet mounted eye wash
Designed to withstand a lifetime of use
Features a built-in thermostatic safety valve that will automatically shut off eyewash flows at 100 degree Fahrenheit, diverting all water out through the aerator at the bottom of the unit. This protects users from accidentally irrigating with water that is too hot. When the water temperature returns to a safe temperature, eyewash flow is automatically restored.
Traditional eye washes irrigate from the outside edge of the eye back toward the nose. where contaminants can then be flushed into the nasal cavity through the lacrimal punctum, natures ocular cavity drain.
Fire Extinguishers
Foremost: fume hood fires must be extinguished promptly, failure to do so could result in loss of life and valuable equipment & processes. In case of a fire inside of a fume hood, 1. Lower the sash into the closed position. 2. Pull the manual front mount discharge cable to activate the fire extinguisher. 3. Shut off the fume hood blower on the fume hood, and any remote exhaust blowers that are connected. 4. Shut off any utility services that could feed a fire. Fire extinguisher activation occurs at 165° Fahrenheit. These are recommendations, contact your laboratory safety officer for guidelines.
