EnviroMax Vented Enclosures

Designed to protect laboratory personnel from potentially hazardous fumes, vapors, and odors, HEMCO's EnviroMax enclosures connect to an existing lab exhaust system or a dedicated exhaust blower. Air entering the enclosures is drawn from the surrounding laboratory environment. Custom sizes and configurations are available.

These enclosures feature a unitized design that allows for easy installation on-site and passage through standard doorways. The superstructure consists of a welded steel frame with a chemical-resistant white powder-coated finish. Side and rear walls are constructed of clear acrylic or tempered glass.

The molded composite resin ceiling includes an outlet duct collar sized for the required airflow and a slotted baffle to ensure uniform air distribution into the exhaust plenum. The enclosure front includes horizontal sliding, shatter-proof clear panels allowing full access to the interior workspace.

A factory-installed fluorescent light is sealed behind a clear lens, with the switch mounted on the front post. The enclosure provides a cost-effective, flexible workspace that exceeds stringent contamination requirements. All electrical components are UL listed.

The enclosure front includes horizontal sliding tempered glass panels allowing access at any position. A factory-installed fluorescent light is sealed behind a clear lens with the light switch mounted on the front header panel. All electrical components are UL listed.

• Choice of 48" or 60" depth

• Pre-wired electrical connection to a single-point junction box

• Worksurfaces, support benches, and cabinets

The standard sash for EnviroMax. The maximum sash opening for the horizontal sash is 1/2 that of the vertical sashes. The smaller opening, means less air exhausted resulting in energy savings.

Optional sash for EnviroMax. The sash may be hinged vertical rising or horizontal open for maximum access thru the fume chamber.

The optional sash for EnviroMax. The sash may be lifted to the completely open position for maximum access through the fume chamber. Sash stops available.
