UniFlow Perchloric Acid Fume Hoods
UniFlow Perchloric Acid Fume Hoods are specifically engineered for laboratory procedures involving perchloric acid. These systems feature a seamless Type 316 stainless steel or PVC fume chamber with an integral work surface and are designed to safely manage hazardous residues through a dedicated wash-down and exhaust system.
Available in widths of 48”, 60”, and 72”, these fume hoods are built to support safe operation in highly controlled laboratory environments.
Important: Perchloric Acid Fume Hoods are designed for perchloric acid use only and should be thoroughly washed down after each use to maintain safe operating conditions.
Constructed with a unitized dual-wall design using either PVC or Type 316 stainless steel, providing superior chemical resistance, strength, and durability. Rear drain trough is integral to the structure. Meets NFPA 45 requirements with flame spread of less than 25 per ASTM E-84.
Seamless one-piece fume chamber with integral work surface and drainage trough. Available in Type 316 stainless steel or PVC construction for compatibility with corrosive environments.
Integrated wash-down system includes spray nozzles, piping, and a front-mounted control valve for thorough cleaning of the fume chamber and exhaust system after each use.
Factory-installed explosion-proof light fixture with switch located on the left column. Designed for hazardous environments and compliant with safety standards.
Removable access panel allows access to ducting, plumbing, and electrical services from a single connection point.
28” vertical sash opening with 24” or 30” interior depth and 44” working height. Counterbalanced tempered safety glass sash with chemical-resistant framing and smooth operation.
Continuously monitors face velocity airflow to meet ANSI and OSHA requirements.
Limits sash opening to 50% to improve safety and reduce airflow requirements.
