UniFlow MLX AireStream Fume Hoods
UniFlow MLX AireStream Fume Hoods are designed to accommodate larger equipment and laboratory procedures that traditional fume hoods cannot support.
Available in widths from 60” to 120” and depths from 30” to 48”, MLX fume hoods provide flexible configurations for demanding applications. These models are available in both constant air volume (CAV) and variable air volume (VAV) systems and feature modular construction for ease of installation and transport.
MLX fume hoods are designed for applications requiring larger workspaces and expanded interior capacity. Modular construction allows the unit to be disassembled for easier transport and installation.
Non-metallic construction provides total chemical and corrosion resistance for superior durability and long life. The modular fume chamber allows flexibility in installation and configuration.
Engineered airflow system with Vector airflow slots and transition bell exhaust connection ensures consistent airflow and improved containment performance.
Removable access panel allows convenient access to ducting, plumbing, and electrical services from a single connection point. Includes factory-installed vapor-proof LED lighting and controls.
30” vertical sash opening allows efficient loading and unloading of equipment. Features counterbalanced tempered safety glass and smooth operation.
43” viewing height provides unobstructed access and visibility within the fume chamber, allowing for large apparatus and complex setups.
Aerodynamic face opening improves airflow efficiency and directs air evenly into the chamber and through the baffle system.
Continuously monitors face velocity airflow to meet ANSI and OSHA requirements. Available in analog or digital configurations.
Sash stop located at the half-open position reduces airflow by up to 50% for improved energy efficiency.

Combination Vertical & Horizontal Sash
Provides both vertical access and horizontal efficiency. Allows full access to the fume chamber while maintaining energy savings.

1. UniFlow MLX AireStream CAV Fume Hood: Air By-pass low flow, constant air volume hood. Dual wall modular construction, all non-metallic corrosion and fire resistant composite fiberglass construction. AireStream VaraFlow baffle system with vector slots and transition bell exhaust connection. Fume chamber has glass-smooth surface. Vertical sash to be counter balanced 3/16” tempered safety glass with chemical resistant non-metallic PVC framing track and aerodynamic sash lift. A sash stop is installed at the 1/2 open position.
